In terms of production, the Meflecto system involves inserting nylon or metal cylinders into an acetate stem, intersecting them with a flexible core of harmonic steel. The process requires over 10 working steps compared to that of a normal frame. Simply put, this system allows the stem to bend comfortably for the wearer.
